The May 10, 2013 LPOD included the curious crater Jansen on the right margin of the marvelous image. Something about its appearance intrigued me as if I had seen it before somewhere else on the Moon. Then the brain clicked in: Ah, Wargentin. Though less than a third of the diameter of Wargentin, Jansen has a similar appearance with its interior filled to the brim of the western rim while the eastern rim rises above the crater fill. The images and profiles, which run northwest to southeast for both craters, were taken from the LROC ACT-REACT QuickMap. The crater profiles show similarities which imply that similar events, though on different scales, shaped the final forms of both craters.

Technical Details
The cartographic distance scale used by default on the profiles overstates the true diameters of the craters due to distortion from the cylindrical projection of the LROC ACT-REACT QuickMap.
