The Moon is the easiest night time celestial object to observe. It's easy to find: big, bright and full of compelling detail. But even this heavenly jewel gets entangled in our cluttering of the sky. Sometimes buildings block it, energy plants slice through it, and more and more frequently aircraft and even spacecraft obscure parts of it. I advise everyone to quickly make a concerted effort to view the Moon, for its increasing rate of concealment suggests that soon it won't be visble at all.
