Sky Candy
image by Miguel Claro, Lisbon, Portugal
Sometimes it's called eye candy, but I say it is too beautiful to pass up. Miguel specializes in wonderful landscape scenes either near Lisbon or millions of kilometers away in space. As I write, the Moon he imaged two nights ago is a fatter crescent now, shining in my window. And hopefully the thousand or so daily visitors to LPOD will also have skies and opportunities to look up tonight and enjoy the best view in the solar system.
