Four Planets And a Moon

LPOD-Oct17-09.jpg
image by Stefano De Rosa, Monate Lake, North-West of Italy

The lovely celestial scene shows an old Moon (with its earthshine) forming a triangle with Saturn and the bright Venus, all of them reflecting their light on the calm water of the lake. Below on the left of the "triangle", Mercury is emerging from twilight to complete the predawn conjunction.
