Really, It's a Moon Picture

LPOD-Jul13-14.jpg
image by Peter Rosén, Stockholm, Sweden

…yes, it is all in one picture!
Tonight I went up on my rooftop to have a look at the beautiful summer nightsky with a Supermoon that was just hours away, as a bonus. But we had this year's most magnifiscent display of NLCs with electric blue filaments covering the northern sky. In comparaison, the so called Supermoon looked a little been lonely on the southern horizon.
I choose this projection called "little planet" to be able to include absolutely everything of the magical scenery. It is composed of 24 exposures taken with a Canon Eos5D MkII and a fisheyezoom 8-15 set on 8mm.
