Con has [http://www.lpod.org/?m=20061114" rel="nofollow previously] shot the Moon with a Nokia cellphone and here is an update. This photo is the same classic view I had a few nights ago with the little StarBlast telescope mentioned [http://lpod.wikispaces.com/July+12,+2011 yesterday]. I am surprised that this picture is so good for most of my attempts to hold a cellphone to an eyepiece have been failures. If this process works frequently then we can send star party visitors home with a lunar souvenir on their phone. Danny Caes proposed this as a [http://www.lpod.org/?p=715#comments" rel="nofollow comment] to the earlier cellphone LPOD, and it is still a good suggestion. <br />

Can You Hear Me Moon

Con has previously shot the Moon with a Nokia cellphone and here is an update. This photo is the same classic view I had a few nights ago with the little StarBlast telescope mentioned yesterday. I am surprised that this picture is so good for most of my attempts to hold a cellphone to an eyepiece have been failures. If this process works frequently then we can send star party visitors home with a lunar souvenir on their phone. Danny Caes proposed this as a comment to the earlier cellphone LPOD, and it is still a good suggestion.

9th July 2011 7.01.11pm. Taken with a 3gs iPhone cellphone camera looking into an AP 130 GT refractor. Eyepiece used was a Televue 15mm plossl; image processed in Apple iPhoto.
