Personally, I have not been confident that the sky still exists, having had cloud cover day after day, so Stefano's image from Italy is reassuring. Stefano writes, <em> Early this morning I took this photo showing the lovely conjucntion above the eastern horizon of two naked-eye planets together with a bright crescent Moon. Near the left bottom of the frame is Mercury just over the colorful twilight glow while Venus is shining left of the Moon's sunlit crescent. Personally, I have not been confident that the sky still exists, having had cloud cover day after day, so Stefano's image from Italy is reassuring. Stefano writes, Early this morning I took this photo showing the lovely conjucntion above the eastern horizon of two naked-eye planets together with a bright crescent Moon. Near the left bottom of the frame is Mercury just over the colorful twilight glow while Venus is shining left of the Moon's sunlit crescent.
