Olympian Mapping
image from Chang'e
A six month old image from Chang'e commemorates the start of the Olympics which I watch while writing this LPOD. This illustration shows how an image is combined with a topo map to produce an image colored by topography. China has reported that they have completed topographic mapping of the entire Moon but the map has not yet been released. Since the initial releases of images and unjustified criticism by ignorant blog writers no Chang'e data has been released; I hope that they soon share their new knowledge.
