One of Those Nights!

LPOD-Apr12-14.jpg

So here I am on Mt. Lemmon trying to use 60" to find asteroids in just horrible skies when I see this beautiful lunar halo on the all-sky cam. I ran out and knocked off a few pictures of it and this one is my favorite even though it's vignetted. I think that kind of adds to the feel of the image. The dome on the 60" Mount Lemmon Survey telescope and the one on the left is our future robotic follow up telescope. The dome behind the tree is the Schulmann telescope used by Adam Block.

Enjoy,
-Rik
