Low Sun, High Drama

I made a mistake. I got a reminder call this afternoon about a talk I give in North Dakota Friday. I thought it was NEXT Friday. So I hustled to the airport and now await my plane ride. So this is an another, but unexpected, Airport LPOD. Fortunately, this wonderful low Sun image is waiting to be used. Pavel's image is great for appreciating the roughness on the floor of Wurzelbauer - interestingly the lava area on the right edge of the floor that includes a rille shows the rille casting a shadow - the west side of the rillemust be higher than the east. I locally brightened the floor of Pitatus to reveal the subtle undulations of the floor. OK, gotta board the aircraft.
