Can there be too much of a good thing? LPOD has featured Copernicus, the monarch of the lunar ring-mountains many times, and although it gets harder and harder to see and say something new, this image can't be overlooked. Overall this is an excellent image, but what strikes me as wonderful are the shadowed hills on the floor of Copernicus. I know they are there and we have seen them " rel="nofollow before, but usually not so dramatically. The last time we had an excellent image of this crater I talked about science, this time lets just look.
