Two Domes & Two Rilles

From the balcony of his high rise apartment building in densely populated Hong Kong, KC continues to capture images of the Moon that reveal little known and even unknown features. He concentrates on near-terminator images that depict gentle domes and shallow rilles. In this image, if you can drag yourself away from Posidonius and look north, you will see two thin white arrows that KC used to mark little known perpendicular extensions of the G. Bond Rille. The southern one has been seen before by amateurs, but the faint northern rille is less well known, being just barely visible in a Clementine multispectral mosaic. Two possible domes are just to the south. A 9 km one is just below the rille segment and east of Hall K and has a diamond outline and is higher on its left and right sides than in the middle. A 5 km wide domical structure is just north of Hall C. These possible domes are indicated by arrowheads and are easier to see if you download the image and view it at 200%.
