Dullsville

The crater is on the farside, but it doesn't matter where or which it is, for the view is emblematic of being in lunar orbit. The staircase-like mound of debris on the far wall contrasts with the tall scarp to its left, showing that the rim changed differing ways in different places. The floor has hills that are surrounded by smooth material, probably lava flows of some sort, juding from the small rilles. We don't know the exact age for this crater, Antoniadi, but it is nearly impossible to comprehend that what we see has been essentially unchanged for 3 to 3.5 billion years. There is no place on Earth where that statement could be true.
