Frost Moon Rising
image by Peter Rosén, Stockholm, Sweden
Today's full Moonrise was truely fantastic. As the Sun had set 15 minutes before, there was an intense Earth shadow with a belt of Venus on top.
The picture is taken from the top of a skislope on the outskirts of Stockholm marking the boundary between the city and the forest. I really appreciate
living in a city, in fact a capital, where the sky is always present. It may change quite soon though as the local politicians have some megalomaniac
construction plans that sadly will transform the face of Stockholm in a very near future.
Peter Rosén
CAW Note: Happy to see a clear, serene sky. In WV we are removing all swinging planters, furniture and other potential missiles from our garden as a
storm with very high winds moves closer.
