If I understand it correctly, and I'm not sure I do, but the magmatic water on Bullialdus' central peak was brought up from deep within the Moon when the central peak rebounded from the projectile impact. This gives us a small look at the composition of the lower layers of the Moon's crust. Please some one correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, I'm getting a little carried away here. Ha! Don't know why particularly, but Bullialdus is one of my favorite craters to observe in my telescope.
