Born 1964 and amateur astronomer since 1978. Has had several telescopes, but currently works mainly with a 20 inch F4 Newtonian reflector, located Oudenaarde, Belgium. Professional: Master in Sciences, 1987, PhD in Sciences, 1993, Full Professor at University Ghent and Group Leader with VIB (Flanders Institute Biotechnology). Two children.
