It is interesting how scientists like Dinsmore Alter can be wrong about the Moon because of a strongly held world view (aka conventional wisdom). I wonder if the same thing can happen to today's scientists regarding their opinions about "global warming" and "climate change?" It would be interesting if we make all kind of changes in public policy to address alleged "climate change" only to find out 20 or 30 years later that we got it wrong.
