If I understand it correctly, and I'm not sure I do, but the magmatice water on Bullialdus' central peak was brought up from deep within the Moon when the central peak rebounded from the projectile impact. This gives us a small look at the composition of the lower layers of the Moon's crust. Please some one correct me if I'm wrong.
