Moon Balanced On Basilica

Harvest Moon next to the Basilca of Superga. Rising near the horizon, the Full Moon closest to autumnal equinox looked extremely large and the effect was accentuated by the distance at which the photo has been taken: some 17 kilometres from the Basilica. The church, built in 1731, sits on the highest hill around Turin (at 669 meters it is visible from most of the city) and is one of the symbols of the city.
