It is well known correspondence between the colors in an image at high saturation of the RGB channels of a lunar area with different geological surface patterns. There is abundant literature on the subject. It is interesting to review from time to time issue. Visually, the different areas of soils are well contrasted. But the known artifice is also a great excuse to increase even more, its beauty.<br />

Image mosaic of five pictures (5 X 20 ISO400 exposures at 1/50seg), taken with Celestron C8 telescope, Televue Powermate x2, and Canon 650D camera, no tracking.
Location in El Pedroso, Seville, Spain.
Date: August 25, 2013, 00:05 to 00:28 UT.
