Youmoon
images and video from Miguel Claro, Portugal
LPOD is the premier outlet for great images and descriptions of the Moon. I am also interested in technology and like to experiment - hence my wikis, blog and website. Miguel has taken display of lunar images one step further, putting them together with music as a YouTube video. Some of the images you will recognize for they have appeared as stills in past LPODs. Miguel's experiment produced an evocative product that will have wide appeal. Will other YouTube videos be created that tell more about the Moon - a video lesson, minus the academic's talking head, but with sound and scientific content? Who will be first?
