Last Tuesday, the New Moon occured with a elongation of 5,5° from the Sun for my location in SE of France at 44.0° 7.5°E. Using a DMK21 camera and a near IR filter (> 950nm) on a 80mm refractor I imaged the thin crescent Moon at 11:09UT the time of the New Moon and of course also a few minutes before and after as you can see on this personnal link.
