Your Own Moon

In the May, 2001 issue of Sky & Telescope I reviewed five lunar books and gave much praise to a small self-published one by an Australian medical doctor (The Face of the Moon by Joseph Cohen). The reason I liked it is that is was a personal guide of the Moon. With the design and layout capabilities now easily available in common software, each observer can create his or her own personal documentation of the lunar surface. Will’s annotated mosaic is another example of how imagers can have the pleasure of using their own work to share their knowledge of the Moon with others.
